On March 5, 2026, ISDI held an art therapy activity with Mrs. Mira Hoeng at the ISDI Center of Hope. Mrs. Mira Hoeng is a textile designer, pattern artist, and creative entrepreneur from Indonesia who founded the fashion and lifestyle brand MIWA Pattern.

This activity was attended by ISDI children and their accompanying parents. The goal was to explore children's potential and the importance of parent-child relationships in developing their painting skills.

From the responses from parents who participated in this activity, all parents learned that their children's drawings demonstrated extraordinary imagination. We, ISDI and the parents, hope that this activity will continue and that more knowledge will be learned from our unfamiliar experiences.

Thank you, Mrs. Mira Hoeng and her staff for assisting with this art therapy activity. Best regards from ISDI...

April 22

Happy 27th Birthday to ISDI on April 21, 2026. We celebrated at Center of Hope ISDI with all the children from the Center and the children participating in angklung activities at ISDI. It has been an extraordinary journey and achievement for ISDI in 27 years of mentoring, training, and supporting these children in their work.

We are very grateful to the parents, ISDI children, donors, and the entire community for their support, both material and non-material.

We pray that in ISDI's 27th year of service, we can continue to provide the best, that ISDI will be widely recognized not only in Indonesia but also internationally, and that ISDI will continue to be an inspiration and a living example for the community regarding the importance of an equal and supportive space for all children with Down Syndrome. Amin.

ISDI held a screening of "Semua Akan Baik-Baik Saja" at XXI Cinema, Artha Gading Mall, on Thursday, May 14, 2026.

This film has a great, touching, and memorable storyline. One thing that made us proud was the film's cast, featuring a disabled friend named Alim. He delivered a truly attractive performance.

We are grateful to Tiger Wong Entertainment for inviting ISDI to attend the screening of "Semua Akan Baik-Baik Saja" We hope that ISDI students will also have the opportunity to act and star in films like Alim. Amin.

An atmosphere filled with creativity filled the ISDI Center of Hope. To commemorate its 11th anniversary, PT. Waas Corp Indonesia chose to share joy through unique and educational Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities with the students of the ISDI Center of Hope.

The main event featured a group painting activity on cloth bags. The children were thrilled and excited to express their imagination through color. The warmth was further enhanced by the team from PT. Waas Corp Indonesia not only accompanying them but also enthusiastically learning more about the characters of the ISDI Center of Hope children and their extraordinary potential.

The festive event concluded with a special performance by the ISDI Center of Hope students, who performed a modern dance.

We, the ISDI family, express our deepest gratitude for this concern and togetherness. Being a part of PT Waas Corp Indonesia's 11th anniversary journey is an honor for us. Our best wishes: may PT. Waas Corp Indonesia continue to prosper, succeed, and spread benefits to others. Amin.

About Us

ISDI (Yayasan Sindroma Down Indonesia or Indonesian Down syndrome Society) was formally established on 21 st April 1999. A non-profit support group of parents, medical professions, special-needs experts, teachers, and all of those who have deep concern.

We, as parents are very concerned of the future of children with Down syndrome in Indonesia especially when little is done to support them by the government or other non-profit organizations.

We so look forward towards a better future by sharing our experiences and supporting each other in our monthly gatherings. This way we gain knowledge and our children benefit from our experiences.
