| 18 December | ISDI was invited to share and perform at a charity event by KidSport, Bintaro. Children of ISDI perform dances, drawing and exhibit products done by the children. |
| 4 December | ISDI participated in the drawing and bazaar competition at the HIPENCA-International Day for the Handicap at the Cathedral, Jakarta. |
| 25 Nov – 4 December | ISDI was invited to exhibit drawings/paintings done by the children at the Japan Foundation annual friendly drawing competition for all Japanese-Indonesian children. |
| 7 November | ISDI participated in the World Run Day, an annual British International School charity event, at their Bintaro compound, Tangerang. |
| 6-7 October | Coaching Clinic for swimming coaches of clubs SOIna courtesy of The Asia Pacific Special Olympics. |
| 21 August | 15 th Anniversary of SOIna. ISDI provided seminar on “Managing Puberty on Down syndrome” by Lucia Royanto, Psi. at the Graha Pemuda Senayan. |
| 27 July | Provincial Sports Day competition for the handicap. |
| 1 July | Swimming Club of SOIna-ISDI was established. |
| 13 June | ISDI participated in the event of the British International School Biathlon. |
| May | ISDI participated in a most prestigious art competition for the handicap in Rome, Italy. |

About Us
ISDI (Ikatan Sindroma Down Indonesia or Indonesian Down syndrome Society) was formally established on 21 st April 1999. A non-profit support group of parents, medical professions, special-needs experts, teachers, and all of those who have deep concern.
We, as parents are very concerned of the future of children with Down syndrome in Indonesia especially when little is done to support them by the government or other non-profit organizations.
We so look forward towards a better future by sharing our experiences and supporting each other in our monthly gatherings. This way we gain knowledge and our children benefit from our experiences.
