Mrs. Aryanti R. Yacub as chairwoman of ISDI, attended the closing ceremonial event of the British International  School year and a farewell to Mr. Paul Starkie as Vice Principal and Head of The Secondary School of the British School and several other teachers. Mr. Starkie was instrumental to ISDI’s profile to the British International School, that he single

handedly elevated ISDI to raise awareness amongst the teachers and parents of the school since 2004. The significant result was that the institution made history in Indonesia for being the first foreign school to accept Down syndrome people and gave so much in terms of recognition and opportunities to improve. The British International School has also in many occasions been generous with their donations to ISDI to support and upgrade our needs to help Down syndrome with better qualities equipments.
