Center of Hope (CoH) students have gained so much knowledge that they can sell their work.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to Oxone for its support and attention to ISDI.
In welcoming World Down Syndrome Day, Oxone installed a giant billboard by displaying the cooking activities of CoH students along the very strategic and busy Cawang-Panjaitan toll road.
We are deeply amazed and touched by Oxone's utmost attention for our mission to uplift the dignity of Down Syndrome people.

Lasagna is a usually a three wide squarish layered pasta filled with a variety of possibilities: some with only minced beef + chopped mushroom, onions etc, or some can be with minced chicken added with chopped spinach..or any other and make it your own creative fillings.
This dish is one of our favorite..so naturally everyone just loved it and made cooking the more fun today..

This dish is eaten not with white rice but with ketupat which is rice cooked in coconut leaf weaved into a diamond shape figure. The rice then becomes sticky rice and then cut into small pieces.

About Us

ISDI (Ikatan Sindroma Down Indonesia or Indonesian Down syndrome Society) was formally established on 21 st April 1999. A non-profit support group of parents, medical professions, special-needs experts, teachers, and all of those who have deep concern.

We, as parents are very concerned of the future of children with Down syndrome in Indonesia especially when little is done to support them by the government or other non-profit organizations.

We so look forward towards a better future by sharing our experiences and supporting each other in our monthly gatherings. This way we gain knowledge and our children benefit from our experiences.
